New Business Development Position

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for locating new opportunities for Elite Guard Security, by visiting existing and new customers.

  • Direct contact with people of all levels both internally and external, and will need to work with customer’s sales groups.

  • Must be responsive to the customer’s needs and follow through on all aspects of request, both written and verbal.

  • Required to work closely with the CEO, when responding to a Request For Proposal (RFP) to inform him of market conditions, pricing issues and the current competition on the program.

  • Make presentations to various groups within the customer’s organization when needed.

  • Will be the lead person on preparing the written proposal in response to customer’s RFP, and coordinate all information from the different disciplines and arrange the formal response.

  • Will act as technical representative to the customer, during the initial contact.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Experience in Industrial markets.

  • 3-5 years’ experience in securing Contact agreements

 

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Able to work individually and as part of a team.

  • Needs to have excellent relationship-building skills.

  • Computer literate, high level of accuracy and detail oriented.

  •  Must be able to handle multiple functions at the same time and maintain good organizational skills.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to stand or sit, reach, bend and move about the facility.

  • Various travel schedules.

 

 Work Environment:

  • At times may come in contact with unpleasant odors and oily conditions while at customer’s facilities.

 

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
